Thank YOU to all who joined us in person and almost for this weekend, presented by Arc'teryx and Scarpa, full of celebration, partnership, and revelry, featuring the compelling story of keynote speakers and climbing partners Mark Hudon and Jordan Cannon.

The climbing community is the collection of each of our climbing partnerships, large and small.

Our climbing partners are our anchors: to the wall, to stoke, to our dreams, and to the larger community. Our partners compel us to pull harder, dig deeper, and grow. Join us as we celebrate all kinds of climbing partnerships, and the power they can accept to button the cutting edge of climbing, teach us about ourselves, and build a community based on play, sense of humor, and trust.

Once a year, legends and newcomers alike shed their stone shoes and don their finest dresses and suits, and come up together to celebrate the climbing community. During this weekend full of climbing, discussion, celebration, and festivity, old friends reconnect, new friendships are fabricated, and we enhance funds vital to the Club's work.

2022 CLIMBING AWARDS

Each year the AAC recognizes outstanding achievements in conservation, climbing, and service to the climbing customs. This twelvemonth is no exception! The 2022 American Alpine Club Climbing Awards will be recognized at the Gala.

2022 WEEKEND SCHEDULE

    • Updates on the AAC: What the Gild has been up to and where it is headed

  • 11AM: Female First Ascents: Inspiration or Tokenism?

    • This panel will discuss ways to better the documentation of cutting-edge women'southward climbing in the media and the historical record.     • Patrick Dunn, founder of OUT in the Wild, and Jordan Cannon, Scarpa Athlete, talk about the importance on LGBTQ+ visibility and mentorship in the climbing industry.
